Nissan Reveals The Story Behind The Design Of Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo

Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo has been introduced last week and it was also announced that the virtual car will join the PlayStation3 game on 6th of July. In fact, the game celebrates 15 years anniversary since it was released for the first time on the market. This Nissan concept has a strange V-motion front fascia and slender headlights. Also, there have been added huge air-intakes which were specifically made that big to deliver enough air for the powerful engine. The unit is producing more than 800HP (588 kW).

In the video below, which the company has just published, Nissan tells the story of how Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo’s life began. Initially it was a dream project for young Nissan designers. They were given the freedom to create the perfect supercar … for their own Gran Turismo fantasy garage, of course.

The team at Nissan Design Europe based in London however, created a spectacular design which seemed to have so much potential. It also benefited from input from an engineering team based in Japan.

In addition, their design also adapted cues from current Nissan performance models. The concept was created from scratch with the latest digital tools. In the video the designers say that this design will be used in future Nissan vehicles and probably will turn out to be a future concept.

A full-size Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo will be presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The last time we have heard about 2014 Callaway Chevrolet Corvette Callaway it produced the astonishing 620 horsepower (456 kW) and 810 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. These figures obviously weren’t enough for the tuners and engineers at Callaway so they have opted for a toque update. After vehicle testing and validation, the vehicle has been rated at 627 horsepower (461 kW) at 6400 rpm and 827 Nm (610 lb-ft) at 4400 rpm of torque. In other words over the stock Corvette baseline the increase is exactly 167 hp (123 kW) and 196 Nm (145 lb-ft).

The graphic below illustrates the increase in power due to Callaway’s new supercharger design and single acoustic chamber exhaust system. The horsepower increases gradually from idle to maximum engine speed, thus avoiding peaking at 6000 rpm. You can also see a broad torque curve with output of more than 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) at only 2200 rpm.

Callaway’s supercharger system features intake manifold design with new intercooler design, and a 2300cc high helix angle as well as four-lobe rotor pack. In fact, the tuners have developed the long-runner manifold to enhance the mid-range torque. The result ism 77 Nm (57 lb-ft) more than last year’s Callaway Corvette.

The intercooler system features three discrete liquid-to-air cooling elements, thus providing great inlet air cooling efficiency. In addition, the extended supercharger housing, convective heat transfer yields additional reduction of inlet air temperature. This provides more oxygen for the volume of air and at the same time enhances the power and helps prevent engine-damaging detonation

HUMMER H2 has been revamped by the Vilner luxury tuning specialists. They gave a treatment almost complete inside, between the seats, and the dashboard, steering wheel and doors, as well as the ceiling. Vorsteiner Mercedes - Benz C63 AMG is impressive. Not only because of his superb eight-cylinder engine 6.2-liter V8, but also because it is located on the stunning new wheels one has some aero tweaks. But first, the engine develops 507 HP (420 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb - ft) of torque. It accelerates the car effortlessly from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds. Shelby American has announced that it will be number one in the edition Shelby GT Barrett-Jackson auctions. The first photos of DMC Lamborghini Huracán Affari were just a leak. They show more details on the next DMC LP630 Huracán, nicknamed Affari. It is an Italian word and mean affair, and obviously, the tuners have nothing against having one with this Lambo.  DMC also noted that internal project code is "Stadium-H1″. With this name, they refer to their Aventador kits, so we should expect a transformation of this supercar.

What we can see in these photos, it is that the Affari becomes a wide range of components aero. For example, the front bumper received new tunnels. In fact, they seem to be sliced by the aggressive Centre swords. The BMW series 2 coupe has also an aerodynamic more effective than those of the BMW 1 series and its predecessor, as evidenced by a Cd of 0.29. Weight empty is 1,470 kg.

BMW LUMMA CLR X 6 R will be ready by 2015

 
LUMMA CLR of BMW X 6 R is presented here as in the project design. The new series of F16 prepares and designers and technicians of the tuning company developing the first examples of the car. LUMMA CLR x 6 R should make his debut at the salon de l'Automobile in Geneva in 2015. The most striking change of Sport activity Coupe is its transformation from widebody. The body kit which is equipped with expanding the car by 50 millimetres on each side with arch extensions wheel with air on both axles boxes. This gives even more muscular attitude of BMW.

To well match the broad shoulders, the tuners has developed a spoiler front bumper with dual LED lamps integrated, shady bar and daytime running lights LUMMA-typical in double design. The base of the front wing is made of carbon fiber. The basic parts of the side skirts, which are then equipped with ventilation ducts are made in the same material.

At the rear, which catches the eye immediately is the closure of tailgate bumper bar with diffuser, which houses the four sport exhaust rear pipes. In addition, the rear spoiler provides downforce improved on the rear axle and is visually and aerodynamically complemented by a roof spoiler. The BMW also gets a new engine cover in light carbon fiber. It has air vent solid central-installed and systems of degassing on both sides.

 

LUMMA CLR of BMW X 6 R will also get the performance gain through extended turbochargers, sporting controlled valve exhaust with catalysts and electronic optimization of race. It will result in an increase in power of 450 HP (330 kW) to 590 hp (434 kW). The barter will increase to 650 Nm (478 lb - ft) at 850 Nm (627 lb - ft). Of course, the top speed will also be amended: 250 km/h at 295 km/h.

The rise will be transmitted on the road with the help of super sports LUMMA CLR Racing wheels. They measure 10 × 22 inches on the front axle and 12 × 22 inches on the rear axle.
